About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our residents with their daily needs, promoting dignity, comfort, and independence in a warm and welcoming environment. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Help with mealtime preparation and ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control policies.
• Work collaboratively with the nursing and care team to deliver person-centred care.
• Document care activities accurately and promptly.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications:
  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare.

• Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting is an advantage but not required.
  • A kind, empathetic, and professional approach to care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
